The Viva exam preparation course is an intensive day delivered online from Tamworth with an emphasis on providing high quality small group education with a multitude of Viva practice opportunities.
The faculty are primarily FACEMs from Tamworth although we have been fortunate to be supported by several FACEMs working at other sites, including some College examiners.
What can I expect from the online Viva course?
- Viva skills workshops
- Anatomy (including dissection images)
- Pathology
- Physiology
- Pharmacology
- Clinical building block conundrums
- Small group ‘pause and discuss’ Viva sessions
- Dress rehearsal Viva exam with the opportunity to ‘watch one’ and ‘do one’
- Focus on individualised feedback
Details will be posted on this page a couple months out from the course which usually runs in April and October.
The online Viva Course last ran in April 2025. The team at Tamworth are taking a break from content delivery in order to renew resources and reinvigorate the Course. We anticipate that the Course will recommence to tie in with the 2026.2 Viva.
